I hate the idea of bottled water. I am sure it has its place, less developed countries perhaps or somewhere where you are far from a tap.

But live in the developed world and the water supply is basically always drinkable. There are many people who don't have the luxury of clean water. One such country is Fiji where only 47% of the population have access to clean drinking water(source:The Guardian)

So for some reason you can actually buy bottled water from Fiji!

You can buy it for just £1.76 per liter from Ocado. Slightly more expensive than petrol.

that does seem wrong

I buy bottled water because I like it carbonated, in every other country this seems to just be called soda water

I try not to buy the bottled water from Fuji, even though I love their bottles. It just seems crazy to have them ship it all the way here.

Our water here in our city in SoCalif is not drinkable in my opinion for two reasons. One we live in an old house and the pipes may be dirty and two they add fluoride to it. So we go to the water store, where we buy reverse osmosis drinking water for about .20 cents a gallon. But I cook with our water.

I didn't know that about Fuji, thanks now I know not to buy that bottled water although I never did to begin with because I thought it was over priced.
